2015 Young Referee of the Year
Requirements to apply:
An individual may be nominated and selected as the Young Female Referee of the Year or the Young Male Referee of the Year for extraordinary accomplishments as a young soccer referee if the individual—
- was certified as a Federation referee during the seasonal year immediately prior to the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated;
- is certified or being certified as a Federation referee during the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated;
- during those two seasonal years, refereed games primarily for US Youth Soccer, a region, a State Association, or a member or team of any of those organizations; and
- did not reach 19 years of age prior to that August 1 immediately before the beginning of the seasonal year for which the individual is being nominated.

Yamanouchi - 2013 Region IV Young Referee of the Year!
Congratulations to Hawaii's Tiffany Yamanouchi on her selection as US Youth Soccer Region IV Female Young Referee of the Year..
Tiffany was presented the award by Region IV Director Ken Edmunds (pictured below)at the recently completed Far West Regional
Championships held here in Hawaii in June of 2013.

On behalf of the Hawaii State Referee Committee, I am proud to announce the Young Female Referee of the Year and the Young Male Referee of the Year for extraordinary accomplishments as a young soccer referee. This year, we had outstanding and deserving nominations, but two individuals stood out among their youth peers. Hawaii referee and the Soccer Ohana, please congratulate:
