U12: U12 Champions or finalist of the HYSA State Cup will represent Hawaii at the West Region Championships (U12s at President’s Cup June 15-19 in Boise, Idaho). This tournament is the qualifier for 12U Regionals.
U13-18: Champions or finalist of the HYSA State Cup will represent Hawaii at the Far West Regional Championships in Boise, Idaho June 23-29, 2023.
New in 2023, teams may opt out of travel to Regionals by declaring their intent to not travel at team check-in, prior to the start of the State Cup and will not be financially penalized. A form will be available to confirm intent. Teams that do not declare in advance that they will not travel will be subject to financial penalties. Teams must apply to the State Cup by logging into their Affinity Account. Only a rostered coach or team admin may apply a team to State Cup.

Scheduling Note:
Depending on the number of entries in a particular division, the tournament format may require a division to commence play on FRIDAY. There MAY be games scheduled at 4:00pm on Friday. Traveling teams should NOT book travel arrangements prior to the release of the schedule. HYSA will not be responsible for costs associated with changing travel arrangements due to schedule modifications. Book at your own risk!

Teams should refrain from booking travel arrangements until after the schedule has been released. HYSA is not responsible for travel costs. Due to scheduling limitations, we are not able to honor requests for late arrivals or early departures. Please plan accordingly.

Also claiming trips to Idaho are HSC Bulls 91B as our BU15 Wild Card team and HSC Bulls 93G, the GU13 Wild Card team. HSC Bulls 94G will participate in the 8v8 division of the Far West Regionals. Hawaii will not be represented in the U19 Boys and Girls divisions as no teams entered. Congratulations to all teams. Good Luck in Idaho!
