US Youth Soccer HAWAI’I State Cup (Regional Qualifier)
HYSA State Cup is just around the corner! This tournament is a State Qualifier for the US Youth Soccer’s 2025 Regional Championship and the USYS President’s Cup. A single division will be offered in each age group, as the ultimate goal of this tournament is to determine our State Champion and representative(s) for Regional and National Competitions.
The 2025 USYS Farwest Regional Championships will be held in Boise, Idaho on June 20-25th. *Please note the U12 division will be played in conjunction with the USYS Presidents Cup in Boise, Idaho – June 13-17, 2025
The Far West Region Championships is part of the US Youth Soccer National Championships.
Winners of the Far West Regional Championships qualify for the US Youth Soccer National Championships to be played July 22 – July 27 • Orlando, FL
Teams are given the opportunity to “opt out” of advancing without financial penalty.
The US Youth Soccer National Championships, presented by New York Life, is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.

USYS Regional Events
U12 Champions or finalists of the HYSA State Cup will represent Hawaii at the West Region Championships (U12s at President’s Cup June 13-17, 2025, in Boise, Idaho). This tournament is the qualifier for 12U Regionals.
Teams must apply to the State Cup by logging into their Affinity Account. Only a rostered coach or team admin may apply a team to State Cup.
Champions or finalists of the HYSA State Cup will represent Hawaii at the Far West Regional Championships in Boise, Idaho June 20, 2025.
Any team that enters the State Cup must be committed to participating in the Far West Regional Championships (FWRC) in Boise, Idaho if declared Hawaii’s representative. Teams not fulfilling their obligation to travel will be required to reimburse HYSA the costs incurred, including the FWRC entry fee and any additional financial penalty issued by U.S. Youth Soccer (USYS). Last year, the entry fee for each team was $1,600. This year’s entry fee will be provided when available. USYS could also issue an additional financial penalty to HYSA for teams dropping out after May 1st. Should this take place the team will also be responsible for any penalties assessed by USYS for the team’s non-attendance.
Teams must be applied to the tournament in the Sports Connect (Affinity) system be a club administrator OR an individual on the team’s roster.

The U18/19 division will be held in May allowing players away in college the opportunity to play in their last HYSA State Cup.
New in 2024, the West Region has combined the U18 & U19 age groups into ONE division. So, all U18 & U19 teams will playoff to qualify for one slot in the Far West Regional.
